In most cases, a seller’s promise of a normally functioning product is precise and clear and offered in writing, as a warranty. When you have that promise, and the product you purchase later experiences problems, you can — and should — expect that the seller to fulfill their obligations to you and correct the problem. If your case is sound, you should have the choice of either a refund or a replacement. At H.C.
